Between our internal football media day, reporters on campus to talk about our free GA tickets and the rain in Emporia today was another not in a row #5Kaday.

Day 26 of #5Kaday. Had to make up for yesterday. I do love hot summer walks.

We are about as ready as we can be for the first ever on campus MIAA Football Media Day. Rooms are set, streaming is ready, media guides and credentials are printed along with directional signs. And I got in day 27 of #5Kaday - just not in a row.

Another great The MIAA Football Media Day! Don Weast and his crew + conference staff were amazing, and it was good to be back on a campus that I considered going to back in HS (before I went my JUCO ways and then became a Loper)

Day 30 of #5Kaday - not in a row. One of the problems with waiting to walk at night is the chance of summer storms popping up. Was still able to get out for a short walk after the heavy stuff.

Finished Day 31 of our #5Kaday challenge. Thanks to our little group for the motivation this month. I feel I can welcome back all my other friends that muted me for July. I will keep putting one foot in front of the other - just not posting every day.

It’s the unofficial end of summer with the Lyon County Fair Carnival and ESU Hornet Football training camp in full force. And I’m officially in the time of year where I move about as much during my work day as my actual walk.

Worst part of a fumble recovery on the opening kickoff? Waited all day for the Kansas City Chiefs preseason opener to watch Mahomes throw a TD on the second play of the game and be done. Which is also the best part in some ways.
