Danica Roem's race is being called, and she will become Virginia's first transgender Senator! She was in a very hard fought race, where hecklers openly shouted transphobic slurs at her in town halls. Anti-trans politics does not win elections. Congratulations, Senator Roem!

MAJOR victory for LGBTQ+ rights, trans rights, and abortion rights in Virginia tonight, where Democrats have won the senate. At Youngkin rallies, canvassers handed out anti-trans messages spreading fear of trans students. Anti-trans politics do not win elections.

Voters are standing up for bodily autonomy and electing candidates who focus on issues that the majority of the electorate actually care about. Discrimination and healthcare bans are losing issues! Congratulations to the people of Ohio and Virginia!

According to an open records request, discriminating based on gender identity is Nebraska’s Department of Administrative Services’ second-highest agency priority. Not workforce. Not growing our economy. Not reducing government waste. Just crotch watch.

Politicians in Nebraska led by Governor Pillen and members of the Legislature have chosen to target and discriminate through legislation, executive orders, and these rules. And why? Nobody wants this. Discrimination against any Nebraskans is wrong and hurts all of us.

We know our fellow fair-minded Nebraska neighbors will not be fooled by extremists and will join us in our efforts to refocus our state's attention to real issues like property tax relief and access to affordable child care so we can all have an opportunity to succeed.

Why does the party that campaigns on reducing property taxes and “big spending” never done either? Instead, they restricted healthcare for women and trans people, and now they’re on crotch watch trying to police what’s between your legs and what you do with it. Disgusting
