Yesterday, a Riverside County deputy was shot and killed by a 3-strikes convicted felon. The Sheriff is outraged that the guy was on the loose. Nothing said about the proliferation of and easy access to guns.

Car versus train. Barranca just north of San Bernardino Road in Covina at about 10:30 am today (Feb. 10, 2023). The car's driver and one passenger on the train were injured. This intersection is the first crossing upon heading east from the Covina Metrolink station.
