The 2023 Elders and Youth Conference is happening in Anchorage! We look forward to this beautiful celebration of Alaska Native people, where values and knowledge are passed on to the next generation.

Field Technician and Community Liaison Nathan Andrew has been with #DonlinGold for two seasons now. Nathan finds environmental safety as one of the most important and meaningful parts of his work, as the land and water provides for us all.

Over the years, we've worked alongside Y-K region partners to maintain a clean environment by reducing e-waste. At #DonlinGold, we are proud of the dedication and actions taken in protecting our surroundings through the Backhaul Project.

Contrary to myths, for over 21 years, we have conducted a wide range of environmental studies to evaluate and mitigate mining impacts on water. #DonlinGold is required to meet high standards, and our plans will even leave the water cleaner than it was naturally before.

Community Relations Coordinator Colleen Laraux has been a dedicated employee at #DonlinGold for 12 years! From growing up in Bethel, Colleen has a deep-rooted love for Alaska and holds a strong belief in the potential of the project and the positive outcomes for the Y-K region.

Established to help direct, develop and support high school interscholastic sports, academic and fine arts in Alaska, ASAA is a nonprofit organization that provides and promotes opportunities for students within our state. Visit asaa.org/about/ to learn more.
