Im Endeffekt sind wir schon knapp an der Kippe, wo Wien ohne aktive Kühlung in den Wohnräumen unbewohnbar wird. Zum Großteil ist das auch der Stadtregierung geschuldet die gegen Hitzeinseln nicht vorgeht sondern sie intensiviert.

Die Stadt Wien setzt auf Begrünung & Kühlung von Plätzen & Straßen, um Hitzeinseln entgegenzuwirken. Vertikale Begrünung an Gebäuden muss jedoch sorgfältig geplant werden. Austrian Standards hat dazu 2021 eine ÖNORM zur Planung & Ausführung veröffentlicht: bit.ly/4e1CBb4
