When I was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives during the height of the pandemic, it was difficult to navigate the process of being there at the Capitol. But I did. That was the Job I was hired by the people of Minnesota to do. Rep. Matt Norris did not show up. Matt failed

Doing the work of your district is important. Doing the work as a Minnesota State Representative is the actual job. Thanks for showing up and doing the work, brother. A simple lesson that is lost on so many right now.

It is a plain reading of the statute. Specifically the use of the word shall makes this clear. Like the Second Amendment. Shall not be infringed. It can be argued against if you don’t like it, but it is statute until changed. Until then, it is the law.
