My fab grandfather turned 99 today. His bio includes being a forced laborer during WWII and being one of the 266k Polish repatriates from the Eastern Borderlands. On a lighter note, however, it also turned out that he was a young Leonardo DiCaprio.

Thank you! The translator, Naklada Ljevak editor, and I worked on this intensely while I was a Fulbright France fellow at Iméra. I think it’s through your support it turned out so well! historiografija.hr/?p=42163

What an AMAZING honor. Thank you so much. This is a book I had hoped would mean something for readers in the 2 countries most intertwined with its story (Croatia + Italy): to see this post the same week that the Croatian translation came out with Naklada Ljevak touches my heart.
