Re-reading this little bit of genius for the umpteenth time. It’s a masterpiece. Second only to Laurie Lee in its ease of evocative scene setting and story telling (IMO). I keep giving copies away as presents along with dvd’s of Whistle Down the Wind.

I don’t think any of us have found it easy to accurately describe how much Steve meant to us.
How much he’ll be missed, or the decades of hilarious memories he gave us. To me, he was a deep thinker, music lover, naughty, raconteur, friend. He was also loved by all who knew him x

We were at a wedding this weekend. A dear, dear, deeply loved friend of ours entered the room to a beautiful Waterboys love song. Then, as she walked down the aisle, the music switched to Darth Vaders theme tune (The Imperial March)
Pure class.
As if we couldn’t love her enough.x

I’m back from one of the mot creatively rewarding weekends ever. Castles in Space put on an incredible line up of ambient music artists which enthralled everyone who attended for two whole days. I’ll never forget the sonics and visuals. Friendly, unique and utterly engrossing.

Released today on Netflix - ‘Race To The Summit’ - a documentary film showcasing trail-blazing climbers Dani Arnold and Ueli Steck. Lots of music from myself featuring in this one including the incredible opening sequence…

Oh not the North going on again! How irritating. I’m sure the T*ries didn’t factor on being in power long enough to actually have to deliver on any of these “promises”. THE T*RIES DO NOT LIKE YOU. Stop voting for them, you are nothing but an irritant to them.
