Dominica Williams is our alto soloist for this week’s performances of Handel’s Messiah, with Peter Whelan and Irish Baroque Orchestra! Dominica began her training in the girls’ choir of Christ Church Cathedral Dublin, going on to sing in the professional adult choir there until 2015.

Many people were told by a parent that they were a “difficult child” when the parent actually meant: “I’m having difficulty parenting and raising you is challenging me.” This would create so much less shame.

It was such a privilege to be a small part of this incredible festival -- have never felt more supported and valued by an opera company, and in such gorgeous surroundings! (And met some truly lovely people too!)
