holy crap! used OrbStack with a Ubuntu container and #XQuartz .. little help by #claude, I'm now running all kinds of linux/X apps (gimp, inkscape, intellij) on my mbp like native apps. also VideoLAN with PulseAudio from container->host .. have more audio control than on mac!
