Ógra gathered today with Republicans from all over Ireland for the National Hunger Strike Commemoration which took place here in Derry. We will never forget the sacrifices of the Hunger Strikers as we dedicate ourselves to building a better future for everyone in a United Ireland

This is a day of immense hope and change with the signing of the £290m Derry and Strabane Growth Deal. The deal will invest in infrastructure, education, and tourism projects, create better jobs, and regenerate communities. This investment is a game changer for all our people.

This morning was a massive step forward for our city and district, with the signing of the Financial Deal for City Deal. Maith sibh to everyone who played their part in getting it to this stage, and we will continue the work to see all of the city deal projects delivered 🙌

The Assembly has today backed a Sinn Féin motion supporting 16 and 17 year-olds having the right to vote. 🗳️ Young people deserve the chance to have their say in building a positive & progressive future. The British government should now move to legislate for this.
