Foolish dad. He planted flowers in a spot that I don’t usually sun myself in. He should know that Beagles often change their minds. The flowers were comfortable…

Dad’s 95 year old mom (my grandma) was visited by her great granddaughter, the Queen of Houston MN Hoedown Days festival.

While I was recovering today, dad took a nostalgia trip. He drove by mom’s parent’s house we sold in 2012 after they passed. Then he got ice cream nearby at his most favorite place…the Plush Horse. Selling ice cream since 1937. Named after the old style carousel horse.

With all the rain, my backyard has really greened up. Perfect for my zoomies and squirreling.

The battle for the backyard is real. I must be vigilant. Squirrels have launched an offensive.

Dad and I hit the trails this morning. Better smells, more ticks. ☹️ We met 3 nice ladies that were daughter, mother and grandmother. 3 generations. The grandmother was 93 years old and still walked quickly with a wheeled walker. They really liked me.
