to answer this for anyone confused or lacking context, yes AI is harming black communities. that is a fact. markiplier is actively advocating for this AI to be removed and banned from use. the “ethical” AI he is funding research of does not impact anyone negatively 🩷

he has mentioned both in the video and the stream that these videos he was “profiting off of” were to make fun of AI and demonstrate how bad it was 😭 he made the video to spread awareness about the AI and stated in his stream that it was stupid to even try it out

he didn’t use AI to understand it ? he used chatgpt once to make fun of it as he says in the stream. he states in the stream the environmental impacts and how genAI is bad and horrible but apparently yall are too illiterate to go read a couple of paragraphs or watch a stream

this entire markiplier AI controversy has literally just consisted of this interaction btw

genuinely disheartening to hear people say that this whole controversy is about race 😭 like markiplier addressed how genAI was negatively impacting so many things and how it’s horrible as a result. you need to realize that we are all on the same side !!
