When a coach leaves a school and can just outright take players with him at any time, what's in it for the school? These guys make outrageous money for what they do, have zero school loyalty and could care less what happens after they leave.

Listen... sincere good luck to him. But let's be clear. It's not a "commitment". They misuse that word. It's a temporary pledge. And it's not to the school, it's to a coach, who is also temporarily there. These coaches and players do not care about the Universities.
