Not only do women and birthing people feel more seen and heard, there is research on improvement in patient outcomes, not to mention the countless patient stories
In the United States, Black women are 3x more likely to die from pregnancy complications than white women — this is unacceptable. Congress must take action to ensure that Black mothers have equal access to maternal health resources. #BlackMaternalHealthWeek
