Isaiah Stevens & Nique Clifford playing together with the Kings in Summer League is going to be really fun to watch. It’s been cool to see Colorado State Men’s Basketball sending more & more guys to the NBA. Wasn’t like that when I was growing up.

This is a good thing for CSU fans. Makes it far easier for most people across the state to tune into the radio broadcast. Outside of NoCo it’s been a pain in the ass over the years. Will be curious to see if 104.3 will talk more CSU during their programming.

Is there any real benefit to your program in opting out of the game?

Will talk about this on Wednesday’s show. I think there’s confusion for some on what this means. It’s the same broadcast but just on a more accessible feed. Weekend radio is mostly national syndication, live broadcasts, etc. It’s not radio hosts doing PXP or something.

The New York Times released a ranking of the top 100 rivalries in college football & had the Rocky Mountain Showdown at No. 91 Even the guys over at DNVR Buffs would agree with us on this one. That’s way too low 🤷‍♂️ Is CSU-CU a top 50 rivalry in college football?

The New York Times ranks CSU-Wyoming (Border War) as the 69th best rivalry in college football. There definitely aren’t 68 better trophies than the Bronze Boot.

You would be very hard pressed to find 90 matchups that had more intensity & emotion on the field.
