There was a surprisingly intimate relationship bw sociology &anarchism up until around the 1960s (Dana Williams has a great article on the topic academia.edu/4170103/A_Soci…) & the rise of Marxism within sociology. Iirc Goffman said it in an interview. I could find it if interested.

I've wanted to read Rhiannon Firth 🧡's book "Disaster Anarchy" since it came out. Finally finished it. Clearly shows how an anarchist analysis belongs in the center of the disaster studies field. Highly recommended! Pluto Press

Coincidentally just finished Martha Ackelsberg's "Free Women of Spain" about Mujeres Libres. It's the best historical study of the topic of women's empowerment in anarchist movements. Btw, ML resisted the "feminist" label, b/c they saw the term as too bourgeois. AK Press
