Huge admiration for Rachel Reeves for having the guts to go into politics. A 100x braver than the armchair cowards on here. Crying doesn’t show “weakness”. Don’t agree with her policies but salute her courage, not least for going into the chamber while feeling miserable

The difference between "fine" and "thriving" - "meeting expectations" and "excelling" is perhaps not just a problem for maths at school - but in wider society. David Thomas describes this very well (h/t to Oliver Johnson) - and I think similar patterns can be seen in many places.
