This was such a lovely hour chatting with the brilliant Sheroy Zaq . I was a little over-relaxed having just returned from a hike and swim in Loweswater. But hey, there comes a point in life…

Very proud of my 'organisational child', Yumna. (Pls note she is a totally capable colleague - just much younger than me!) Solidarity with all women of colour who refuse to take no for an answer. Follow your North Star! x

Not only were the Rwanda detentions inhumane, but we believe they were unlawful. When the state breaks the law it must be held accountable. That's why we're crowdfunding to take the Home Office to court with DuncanLewisPublicLaw. Please donate/share: crowdjustice.com/case/justice-f…

When this person was detained, the Home Office knew that removal to Rwanda was not imminent. For detention to be lawful, removal must be imminent. Help us & DuncanLewisPublicLaw take the Home Office to court. Donate now: crowdjustice.com/case/justice-f…

1/5 The Rwanda scheme has been scrapped, so why take the Home Office to court? Regardless of when something happened or who was in power at the time, people abused by the state deserve justice.

We're delighted that the Home Office has granted our client Indefinite Leave to Remain, under the route for victims of domestic abuse. With this decision, our client & her two children can build their future in the UK. We wish them all the best. Our Jodie Spencer instructed.
