Gabby Logan and Mark Chapman are very competent sport journalists who know Pippa York's comments should be challenged. So why didn't they? Did Global Media tell them not to? Whatever the reason, their failure to do so is a big letdown for female athletes being denied fair play.

Excellent news that FIE have followed the lead of FencingGB and protected the female category Men are no longer allowed to participate in women’s competitions - as it should be

This is plain disturbing. Judge Alexander Kemp, who presided over the Sandie Peggie tribunal, 'has been urged... to withdraw his findings and consider his position after it emerged that his ruling was “riddled” with errors and inaccuracies.' 1/4 thetimes.com/uk/scotland/ar…

The All-Ireland club camogie finals have been taking place this weekend. Maith thú to all these inspirational women for their commitment and dedication. They deserve fairness, safety & dignity - that means no males in their sport. #GetBehindCamogie #GetBehindWomenandGirls

Jennifer O'Connell talks of 'gender inequality' in the GAA yet fails to mention a blatant example: the shameful decision by the LGFA to include males in Ladies Football, thereby denying women & girls fair and safe sport. Maybe that, too, is the 'wrong thing' to care about.

Happy New year. M wish for 2026 is that women & girls who play Gaelic games to have safety, fairness and dignity - that means no males in their sport. We ask our GAA, LGFA & Camogie custodians to now find courage & do the right thing 💪 @LadiesFball The GAA The Camogie Association

The LGFA are running online development webinars: Mastering Difficult Conversations - Yes, they definitely need to learn to do that as they do not correspond with their members. Her Game, Her Journey - HER journey, not his! #SaveWomensSports Ladies Football GaelsForFairPlay

Consent should be sacrosanct. Surveys of female athletes consistently show the majority do not want males - however they identify - in their sport. The Ladies Gaelic Football Association did not seek consent when it dedided to let males play @ladiesfootball and refused to listen
