If Nick Jensen does end up on LTIR/traded, Ottawa could fit a 25% retained Erik Karlsson under the cap ($1M left) while carrying an extra forward and defenseman. #GoSensGo
And frankly, I don’t think he’d be ultra expensive to acquire. 🤷🏼♂️
Every off-season, you get to a point where you just want EK65 back home. It would take a bit of a miracle trade to make it happen, but man, there's no better time to pull it off. Sens blue line would be stacked.

After hearing Elliotte Friedman talking about how the #NJDevils are exploring trading Dougie Hamilton, I felt compelled to give my thoughts:
Personally, I think moving Dougie isn't the right move unless they're getting an impact offensive player.
A cap dump doesn't make sense
Meriläinen literally saved Ottawa's season last year.
That said, it's simply too small of a sample. If he's even half as good in a permanent backup role, he's jolting up this list in a hurry.

The #Sens weren’t in favour of this. Michael Andlauer believes the picture on stage in the jersey is an important moment for the players. The cost of the draft is the reason it’s staying this way. Only the host city benefits.
