The people who said covid is mild are the same people who said that it was over in april 2020, who are the same people who said that masks don't work...

Meanwhile, our children STILL sit in poorly ventilated classrooms while Covid circulates unchecked. Can UK Covid-19 Inquiry not see the irony here? Baroness Hallett is criticising others for not doing more, while she herself is not sounding the alarm about the long term harms 🤦🏻‍♀️😞

For years, people who have been reading the science have been warning that covid infections cause immune system disruption. Not in a mysterious hand-wavy way. In a very specific, well-understood biological way:

This is a good point. But this shouldn’t just be about what should have happened then, it is what should be happening now. COVID is still causing long COVID but where are the warnings from the UKHSA and NHS?

Not understanding something isn’t evidence against it. Not knowing how vaccines work doesn’t mean they’re unsafe. Not understanding genetics doesn’t mean GMOs are dangerous. Ignorance is not a counter-argument.

The UK government chose a Covid strategy that threw Clinically Vulnerable people under the bus. Basic human rights to life were not a priority.

🚨“The continuing absence of any real change to creating resilience in the UK against airborne pandemic pathogens leaves us more, rather than less vulnerable.” This press release from CATA in response to the Covid Inquiry Module 2 report is well worth reading in its entirety ⬇️

Anti-vaccine behavior isn’t based on data, experiments, or risk analysis. It’s based on beliefs people hold onto even when they’re proven wrong.

🚨CVF were rejected from this module. That is, despite serious impacts on both short-term and long-term earnings due to unaddressed health risks. #CovidInquiry

When we look at the brain after COVID, we need to accept something that still hasn’t fully landed in public understanding - changes in cerebral perfusion aren’t limited to people with Long COVID. They show up in almost everyone. And this new study makes that point clear🧵

A big thank you to everyone who retweets this and quote tweets it. Twitter is strongly suppressing Long Covid related posts so every share matters. ❤️

Brief published in Nature finds longCOVID associated with higher unemployment, reduced hours, and financial distress up to 3 years post‑infection, and only partially mitigated by prior vaccination. It’s costing the global economy roughly $1 Trillion per year, $9K per US patient.

Bit of the old system dynamics for the budget. If the Chancellor wants more money then she needs to slow the virus If the DoH want to reduce demand on the NHS they need to slow the virus If management want to improve productivity they need to slow the virus

Yesterday I started posting a long breakdown of women's health issues that appear to have seen a change of trend since the population embraced widespread repeat covid infections. This is part two.

“When you get a sick population, we’re seeing this in terms of long COVID….that’s also terrible for the economy” Here 👇 Zack Polanski is one of the few politicians who knows that COVID is having a massive impact on our health and the economy.

I had a conversation with someone earlier about COVID. They said so much sickness around, so many they know getting sick. I simply said the WHO told us several years ago that ago ‘hundreds of millions will suffer post covid condition’ we were told. It’s not a surprise.
