Given their (ineradicable) tendency to add false information at random (aka hallucination/confabulation), this use case has always seemed highly dodgy to me

excellent article from my pals Laurence Meyer and chloé (@edri) explaining why proposed reforms to the EU's asylum database (EURODAC) will massively exacerbate violence against people on the move, and ultimately reaffirm the EU's racist double standards.

Tomorrow the EU will vote on the deadliest set of migration policies in history.

The politicians will try to sell a package for 'managing migration', but what we will actually get is more violence, racial profiling, policing and more prisons.
