I can't believe my colleague #EvanGershkovich has been sitting in prison for a year. Last year, when he was arrested right before Passover, we asked people to save a seat for him at their seder. I never imagined we'd have to do this for a second year in a row. Evan must be free.
Evan Gershkovich is a brilliant journalist who should have spent the past year chronicling some of the biggest stories of our time. Instead, he's sitting in a tiny cell in a Moscow prison simply for being a reporter. Our front page today illustrates our outrage. #IStandWithEvan
