After four years of seeking the light at the end of the tunnel, I am thrilled to add the title 'Dr' to my name! Feeling grateful and humbled. Also, what better to celebrate than with the fantastic members of GULP !?

My new article in Bilingualism: Language and Cognition (doi.org/10.1017/S13667…) shows that Identity influences L1 attrition in immigrants, with effects varying by sound category. Typological proximity between varieties also matters!
