Big news this morning. Our paper is out in #PNAS: we micro-contextualise precise origins of #aDNA in archaeological sediment using #micromorphology and #palaeogenetics. Great to work with colleagues from MPI-EVA Leipzig on this. Flinders University Flinders Archaeology

What a month it has been for Disperscapes! Team member Meghan McAllister is first author on this review paper discussing the application of stable isotope techniques to reconstruct local palaeoenvironments across Pleistocene arch sites in SE Asia! link.springer.com/article/10.100…

Congratulations to Svante! What an achievement and how cool is it that our Disperscapes team leader Mike Morley has worked and published with him!!

Fantastic month for the DISPERSCAPES Project project from Flinders Archaeology. Last week was at the IPPA2022ChiangMai in Chang Mai, this week it's at the #AEIC2022. Both on research in Tam Pa Ling, Laos to contextualise early modern humans in their Pleistocene! environments

Presenting work forming part of the larger DISPERSCAPES Project project led by Mike Morley and of course my PhD Flinders Archaeology in Flinders University that hopefully set the background for the kind of biomarker preservation Meghan McAllister talks about later today #AAA2022 AustArchAssoc

And another fantastic talk today on Tam Pa Ling Cave, Laos, this time by Meghan McAllister at AQUA on biomarkers preserved in the cave sediments. Another reason to be a proud supervisor - I have such great PhD students! Fabrice Demeter Flinders University Flinders Archaeology DISPERSCAPES Project
