For those interested in presenting either an oral presentation or a poster on a snippet of your research project(s), GESSS-SA wants you! Deadlines extended to 7th November! #GESSSSA Flinders Palaeontology Flinders Archaeology

Big news this morning. Our paper is out in #PNAS: we micro-contextualise precise origins of #aDNA in archaeological sediment using #micromorphology and #palaeogenetics. Great to work with colleagues from MPI-EVA Leipzig on this. Flinders University Flinders Archaeology

Exciting new research on the horizon for Flinders Archaeology! Congratulations Martin Polkinghorne and colleagues!

Congratulations Mike Morley and fellow authors on this fantastic paper! Go check it out!

Congratulations Martin Polkinghorne on your new publication! Flinders Archaeology

Congratulations to Svante! What an achievement and how cool is it that our Disperscapes team leader Mike Morley has worked and published with him!!

Congratulations to our Disperscapes team member Vito Vito Hernandez on a great presentation at IPPA2022ChiangMai, sharing snippets of his microstratigraphic research!

Great talk by Meghan McAllister presenting at the #AEIC2022 on Tam Pa Ling palaeo environment. DISPERSCAPES Project Mike Morley

Fantastic month for the DISPERSCAPES Project project from Flinders Archaeology. Last week was at the IPPA2022ChiangMai in Chang Mai, this week it's at the #AEIC2022. Both on research in Tam Pa Ling, Laos to contextualise early modern humans in their Pleistocene! environments

Presenting work forming part of the larger DISPERSCAPES Project project led by Mike Morley and of course my PhD Flinders Archaeology in Flinders University that hopefully set the background for the kind of biomarker preservation Meghan McAllister talks about later today #AAA2022 AustArchAssoc

Vito Hernandez Vito Hernandez is doing fantastic work on the #micromorphology of sediments from Tam Pa Ling, Laos. I am a very proud supervisor. This work is in collaboration with Fabrice Demeter and the rest of the TPL team! DISPERSCAPES Project #geoarchaeology #AAA2022 Flinders University

Fantastic paper by Meghan! Loving the research coming out of this project DISPERSCAPES Project.

And another fantastic talk today on Tam Pa Ling Cave, Laos, this time by Meghan McAllister at AQUA on biomarkers preserved in the cave sediments. Another reason to be a proud supervisor - I have such great PhD students! Fabrice Demeter Flinders University Flinders Archaeology DISPERSCAPES Project

More crucial geoarchaeological data generated in the Flinders Microarchaeology Laboratory by the DISPERSCAPES Project team!! This time to contextualise early evidence of our species in Southeast Asia Flinders University Flinders Archaeology
