Sorry Sikkim, I wasn't aware of your game! The place is such a joy for geomorphologists. In this image, the terrain rises from 950-8586m in less than 40 kms - a rise of over 25,000 ft! Less than half a dozen peaks on earth can boast such.

What do you do before & during a visit to a place you don't know much about? Read You appreciate the place better, the locals appreciate you better and open up. A lot more left to pick up from the shelves.

Swarupa It does look pretty close from Pelling, just doesn't appear as tall because of the viewing angle from below.
