IFRCs statement to the UN on the Draft Articles for the Protection of Persons in Disasters.

We support a convention based on the 2016 Draft Articles on the Protection of Persons in Disasters. It would fill a legal gap, address challenges for millions impacted by disasters, and save lives. Read our statement to the UNGA Sixth Committee.
