Happy Veterans Day from everyone Dirksen Jr. High!! Our Junior Beta created this board and our staff and students had the opportunity to sign it. We dropped it off at our local Joliet VFW to show our appreciation ❤️

Students from Dirksen Jr. High enjoyed the Will County Regional Office of Education STEAM Fair at Joliet Junior College last week. Students had hands-on activities with ComEd CITGO Petroleum Corporation Will Cty Beekeepers Griffin Museum of Science and Industry Village of Romeoville Fire Department Wilco ACC Nicor Gas and ExxonMobil Joliet.

Congratulations to our Dirksen Jr. High student athletes (and coaches) who were recognized at last night's school board meeting for competing in the IESA Boys Wrestling State Tournament. Woodland Elementary was also highlighted and their "News Crew" students attended the meeting.
