Today we pray for those who lost their lives in the Penlee Lifeboat disaster of December 19, 1981. The Solomon Browne, went to the aid of the Union Star. In heavy seas, both vessels were lost with all hands. 16 people died, including the 8 volunteer lifeboatmen.

This morning all 5 Parochial Church Councils joined together to discuss the joys and challenges of being a Multi Parish Benefice. It was great to see 28 people give up their time on a Saturday to help think through how we can work together and support each other. Diocese of Truro
