I have some gripes, but Art of Vengeance overall is another sleeper hit. Tomorrow, we finish it. Maybe get a 100% save. I appreciate everyone who popped in tonight.

I think there are some hurdles to overcome before bridging the gap, notably understanding the classics. Though to me, progression in this age isn't exactly a straight line anymore. There's so much room for retro and modern now, I just want each game to be good at what it does!

Mr.Din (@dintheabary) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I might have solved the issue, I cleared all previous recordings and set the settings to high instead of ultra and got upwards to 6 hours of footage, seemingly not corrupted. Guess I'll see if this is the trick later today when we finish Art of Vengeance.

I'm genuinely concerned that what I want to do in regard to enemy design WILL be problematic given the way players approach games now. I guess we'll see.

We finished Shinobi: Art of Vengeance tonight, no upgrades purchased. It was intense in some places weirdly easy in others. After getting upgrades, I can feel the game will be much easier going forward. We really need an NG+/Hard mode, but arcade mode has my interest.

I hope it turns out better than the second film. I didn't hate it, but it is kinda forgettable compared to the first film. Also, when are we getting that Frozone spin-off? Sam Jackson can carry a whole movie!

Mr.Din (@dintheabary) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Agreed with this, even if it's not a set hard mode. Just some options in difficulty settings like no kunai, no upgrades, etc, would be great. Maybe an NG+ mode that resets everything. Currently, when you revisit levels, there are sections where enemies stop spawning.

Sounds like BS. But in any case, I don't see why they couldn't just make new characters based on these ideas, you know, like how Lei Wulong and Law are literally Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. I miss when games just found creative ways to do crossovers.
