The Interstellar Song Contest visions should have been of Rose in the TARDIS. Then in the final regeneration scene you realise it’s not Rose, but 16 all along physically trying to set events in motion.

A finale that focuses on experimenting with Time Lord DNA where a Time Lord comes in half way through and kills the main villain. Welcome back The Timeless Children.

The Doctor. The Master. The Rani. Omega. Susan possibly. All exist in some form. Let’s drop the last of the time lords thing now. If these guys survived, including the now dead Tecteun, more probably did.

This is a massive misread of the Moffat era. His whole era was about the Doctor having gained a reputation from his travels, but showed us why that was a bad thing. Eventually putting the character back to an adventurer with a rep Hobo wizard fits Smith’s Doctor more than most.

What if the Brigadier slept with a Sea Devil in the 70s and now there are human Sea Devils is the basis of The War Between. What then? What if I’m right?

Spyfall really did rob of us of having a David Tennant Doctor that wasn’t last of the time lords. That could have been fun.

Jenny πŸ‰ He's gone from the man who makes speeches to armies overhead, back to the children's hero, fixing toys and fighting monsters. He's relearnt what it means to be The Doctor, and commits to those ideals, its why by the end, he looks like Hartnell, a distillation of the character

Moffat wrote my favourite era and I love his take on the Doctor so much. He’s in an elite group who really understands the Doctor and the Master.

He’s the GOAT, but he’s said all he needs to say with the series. His era remains peak and it doesn’t need a continuation. I think Moffat occasionally returning for a one-off is fine.

I like 13 and 15 a lot these days, but I won’t lie I felt nothing when they left because their eras did nothing for me. I want to feel the show again. I want to love the characters. Love the story. Feel like the show is moving on. Only using its past to build on the new.

Crazy how 10 of the 16 Fifteenth Doctor stories feature the Rani. She’s also just out of shot in Space Babies, but we don’t see her.

This would actually be peak and all the stuff from RTD2 being a puzzle and reality trying to bring back the Time Lords would be so good I’d get on my hands and knees and praise this show.

When regeneration, renewal then, was made it was unique to the Doctor until 1974, but when it was introduced only the Doctor could do it. War Chief just died, as did the Time Lords killed in same story. So I understand Chibnall’s temptation to make it unique to the Doctor again.
