i don't know enough about the specifics of this to comment, but there's a dynamic that I think one dimensional thinking about equity does not catch where protecting accused of color can harm victims of color.

One lesson of recent campus events, I think, is that attitudes about debate and protest developed for issues on which there is no dissent on campus don't work when attention turns to matters about which there is sharp on-campus disagreement.

Hot political take: I think there are very few voters undecided or persuadeable as between Trump and Biden. Everyone knows what they think of both Presidents.

There may be some voters persuadable between Trump/Biden and a third party candidate or not voting.

This week’s insanity award goes to all those folks who think they know first amendment law better than Erwin Chemerinsky who has a casebook, a treatise, books, and numerous articles covering freedom of speech.

NPR host who is a Yemeni bodega owner who voted for Trump but thinks all aid to Israel should end. Doesn't believe in global warming but is down with gay marriage.

As a lawsuit over the constitutionality of public ballpark funding slowly winds its way through the Nevada courts, the A's this week raised their hands and said, 'Hey, the sooner the better for that money.'

bubbling creek Dilan Esper (More speculative)Come to think of it, has the population that wants to go to the biggest concerts broadened in terms of age? I feel like the cohort going to the Michael Jackson concerts might still be going to mega concerts while that probably wasn’t true with Sinatra fans?
