Spent the weekend surrounded by friends and the best coworkers at the 2025 CAHPERD /NAPEC conference as I was recognized as there 2025 Adapted PE teacher of the year. Grateful to work in an amazing field with even better people!

My annual "Bring a V.I.P. to the V.I.TEE." mini golf course is ready! 7/18 holes were designed and built by the grades 3 & 4 classes over the last couple of months as a STEAM challenge. All week, students will be inviting guests to play with them during their PE classes.⛳️#physed

Adapted Baseball Unit (#4/5): Positioning students can be a headache. Let me introduce to you… duh dah da dahhh.. VISUALS! Simple additions of foot spots and the arrow can help students practice stepping and swinging independently!

Our Unified Field Day was amazing! Over 60 volunteers, 20 stations, two giant inflatables, a banner that says “I Choose to Include” that students sign, and 500 happy kids! What. A. Day!!! Special Olympics Minnesota

Ended our field trip season going fishing at a local trout farm w/ our Ss w/ multiple disabilities. We had 2 switch adapted reels & one DIY casting device so Ss could independently cast & reel. Ss also used regular rods w/ adult support 🎣 #AdaptedPE
