#UnrealEngine5.6 has a "Locomotor" plugin which provides a new #ControlRig node for procedural locomotion. It takes a target position as input, and outputs an array of feet transforms which animate over time to step towards the goal location. Pelvis motion is also generated.

Truth is modeling and concept have had a blurred line for a long time. A know many modelers that lean more conceptual and some that lean more tech art. The tools are becoming such that is easy to dabble and help communicate ideas.

I wrapped the meta topo to the old model, and then rebaked textures to that, once that was done I used metahumans "conform" option to create an exact head match in engine, then used metahuman for maya to get it here.
