Hi from Adelaide! 🍂 Our group studies arbuscular #mycorrhizal fungi to understand whether the association between AMF and crop plants can improve plant and human nutrition in a changing environment. We’re particularly interested in Zn, phytate and water use efficiency. 🌾➡️🍚

It was my honor to be part of this experiment conducted at the XFM Beamline Australia to analyse how rice and wheat nutrient elements distribution in the grains. A big thank to my supervisor Dr Stephanie Watts-Fawkes, my co-supervisor Prof. Alex, Prof. Enzo, and Dr. Jesse for fully support.

I was my pleasure to present my work today at #ICOM12 and I want to say thank to my supervisor Dr Stephanie Watts-Fawkes and AgriFutures Australia Australian Synchrotron for supporting to my work.

I’ve researched AM fungi since 2017 with my supervisor Dr Stephanie Watts-Fawkes and now I'm honoured to receive the 2024 Sally & Andrew Smith Award for Best Speaker in Soils & Agronomy, granting me membership in Soil Science Australia.

I am thrilled to share two papers from my PhD project on phytate and micronutrients for human nutrition are being published in Plants, People, Planet J and Food Composition and Analysis J. Such a wonderful payoff to close out 2024! Big thank to my supervisor Dr Stephanie Watts-Fawkes
