Great way to start the week, with an aneurysm quiz! Female, 54 years old, asymptomatic. FH: mother died of ruptured cerebral aneurysm and daughter died of ruptured cerebral aneurysm, 3 months ago. MRI for "aneurysmophobia" with suspicion of right A1 aneurysm. DSA in our centre.

Anatomy of the internal capsule... the internal capsule is a white matter structure located between the caudate nucleus & thalamus (medially) and the lentiform nucleus (laterally) and is traversed by several important white matter tracts... #MedEd #RADEd #FOAMed #Radres #FOAMrad

Typical for spinal cord lesions in MS is that they are short (spanning less than 3 vertebra, mostly much shorter) and are located eccentrically in the spinal cord (makes sense, that's where the white matter is). #FOAMed #FOAMrad #MedEd #RadED #radres #radiology

Myelitis in MOGAD is also a longitudinally extensive transverse myelitis (LETM) but located more often in the thoracic than cervical spinal cord (conus can be involved). The H-sign (more T2-hyperintense central gray matter) can be seen in ~30% of cases. #MedEd #FOAMed #radiology

1/“Tell me where it hurts.” How back pain radiates can tell you where the lesion is—if you know where to look! Do YOU know where to look? Here’s how to remember the lumbar radicular pain distributions!

The PROTECT-MT study was conducted over more than two years by 28 participating centers in China, with a screening of 1698 cases and 329 enrolled. During the third interim review, the Data Monitoring Committee recommended, and the Steering Committee decided to terminate the study

My first thrombectomy with the RED72 with Sendit. Love the navigation! I'm looking forward to testing it on a tortuous, atheromatous siphon
