On August 6 & 9, 1945, the fear of nuclear weapons became a reality with the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. In our Canada and the Cold War exhibition, see a tile fragment forever altered by these atomic blasts and learn more about events that led to the bunker's creation.
