Yes. A red card wasn't given to Inigo Martínez after he spat on Acerbi; an act that, according to the rulebook, is a serious and flagrant offense warranting an immediate straight red. VAR did not even intervene.

Few years ago, today's El Clasico referee Hernandez Hernandez let a Barca goal stand after Suarez blatantly kicked Varane's leg right in front of him. The 4th official even notified him "Foul by Suarez!" yet he still didn'g call it. Game ended 2-2.
