Can America Be Saved? I will reiterate--if America is to be saved,she must be saved religiously. And if America is to be saved religiously,she must return to the faith of her father's. And if our land is to be brought back to the faith of our fathers,we its people must have a

nationwide revival of old-time religion that will regenerate hearts,sweep away the evil of our lives,create a morality and spirituality which will hold back not only the dogs of war and the blight of corruption,but also the wrath of Almighty God which will surely be poured out

upon us unless we repent and return. I pray this encourages you today Preachers!!

"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. John 4:14"

Happy Wednesday to you. Open your Bibles up to the book of Zephaniah 3:2 which says,"She obeyed not the voice;she received not correction;she trusted not in the Lord;she drew not near to her God." The title of the message is simply Correction. "She obeyed not the voice." She was

disobedient to God. This city had heard the voice of God but had been disobedient to Him. "She received not correction." God had sent judgment. 185 thousand Assyrians outside the walls of Jerusalem scared the living daylights out of these people--they were frightened beyond

measure(2 Kings 18,19). They had been partially judged,but God had let the judgment pass over. You would think that they would have learned their lesson and would have turned to God,but they didn't. Likewise,there are many Christians today who suffer but never learn why God

permits it. He never let's anything happen to His own unless there is a purpose back of it. This city,like many of us,"received not correction." She did not learn the lesson. "She trusted not the Lord." The city had no trust in Him at all but looked to something else. When the

modern nation of Israel celebrated her 20th anniversary,rhey displayed this motto:"Science will bring peace to this land." My friend,the Bible says that the Messiah is the Prince of Peace,and He is the only one who can bring peace. But they don't trust Him--they trust science.

After that 20th anniversary believe me,Israel got into hot water. Science did not bring peace to that land,and my nation has not brought peace to them either. "She drew not near to her God." Today men are not running to God,they are running from Him as fast as they possibly can.

What a picture this is of the city of Jerusalem! Closing Editorial: Do you know people who refuse to listen when someone disagrees with their opinions? Their root problem is pride--inflated self-esteem. God's people had become so proud that they would not hear or accept God's

correction. So I ask you my friend,Do you find it difficult to listen to the spiritual counsel of others or God's words from the Bible? Don't let pride make you unable or unwilling to let God work in your life. You will be more willing to listen when you consider how weak and

Let Us See the Place. The evangelism of the early church in Acts was a church centered evangelism. It was an evangelism which had as its base of operation the local church. Churches in the New Testament days were great centers of evangelism. Pastors are wrong who say,"My job is

to teach the saints and I will leave the winning of the lost to the evangelist." Paul told Timothy to "do the work of an evangelist(2 Timothy 4:5). He also complimented the church at Thessalonica,saying,"For from you sounded out the Word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and

Achaia,but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad;so that we need not speak any thing "(1 Thessalonians 1:8). Scriptural church evangelism is important because people need not only to be saved,but they also need to be baptized and to unite with a fundamental,

Bible-believing soul-winning church. They need to be taught the Word of God,the great Christian doctrines,the importance of tithing and soul-winning ;and this is the responsibility of every local church. I pray that this encourages you Preachers!!.
