Heifers grazing out well!

Cleaning off this summer's reseed ahead of the winter, hopefully this helps the clover as much as possible and sets the field up well for the spring.

Getting brilliant graze outs ahead of the winter. Paddocks are greening up fast too. You can see the stock in the far paddock on Tuesday morning and how's greened up well by this evening!

Strong clover content here. Reseeded 12 months ago with 2kg of red and white clover. Zero N since sowing.

Growth of 62 🌱 Last N application for 70% of the area was 15 units on April 7th. The other 30% got 8 units on May 1st. Clover doing well ☘️

How does the DM % compare in surplus paddocks like this to a 1500 fit for grazing? Nice bit of clover through it, sown with 2kg red and 2kg white. Took few cuts, averaged 720 grams of herbage. Appreciate any comments TeagascGrass10

Super growth of 76 this past week. This paddock has 1000 back after 15 days. Zero N since sown last year and nearly 9t DM grown YTD. Have a few other paddocks I had planned to spread a few units on over the coming weeks that haven't gotten any since April/May. Would you spread?

Fierce clover content ☘️ Didn't do a separation so not sure what the breakdown is. What would you estimate the clover content is? It's got 24 units of N this year and has grown over 9.5t DM/ha 🌱

MSS update: 5th growing season, the herbs are gone & docks are plentiful. Grass went strong in May so it was left for silage, then the clover disappeared. In the beginning it was great, but it didn't take long for the docks to take over. It was a dirty field beforehand though!
