We're heartbroken by the death of Kendrick Castillo, a victim of the STEM School Highlands Ranch shooting in Littleton, CO. Kendrick was a member of FRC 4418: IMPULSE, of which his father is Lead Mentor. Our hearts go out to Kendrick’s family, friends, & all affected by the shooting.

This week I got to meet some talented students from the Dreadbots FRC3656. Not only do they excel in creating sophisticated robots, but they also actively promote the exploration of STEM. Thanks for coming to DC to display the ingenuity of our district!

We mourn the loss of a true inspiration. Dr. Woodie Flowers coined the phrase, "Gracious Professionalism". It permeates everything in FIRST. It what makes FIRST, more than a robotics competition. Thanks for being an amazing individual, Woodie!
