Do One Thing vs While You’re At It I realized that I had the advantage of having had good coworkers and mentors who have always appreciated the value of taking tiny steps. I was lucky to know “Curly’s Law”: “One thing. Just one thing. You stick to that.” buff.ly/39dNOqi

After some tool calls, Claude creates a PR, leaking everything. This includes: full names, travel plans, salary, list of private repos, etc.

2. Don't click any link because that will open your desired library. Don't type the title of a book you want to read because it might show up. Look at this, someone has pirated my own book. I'm livid!

Today, I’m launching a deeply personal project. I’m betting $100M that we can help computer scientists create more upside impact for humanity. Built for and by researchers, including Jeff Dean & Joelle Pineau on the board, Laude Institute catalyzes research with real-world impact.

Jeff Weinstein But I use many other MCPs to give the model context, including: - GitHub for git history (e.g. PR's, Issues) - Context7 for docs - Firecrawl for grabbing up to date documentation, and any other high quality web scraping - Notion for personal context (in my second brain) - etc

David Cramer None of them are overall good. But I think net Google drives me crazy. Their core products are usually better, and their design is usually better (Amazon's core design theme is like... "ugly" ? I truly don't understand). But Google makes things like API keys, billing, etc.

I'm here and ready to share any and all opinions or experiences I had with Microsoft, Google, and Amazon now. It's been more than long enough and they can't hurt me anymore. Curious about anything? Ask away. I'll queue up some answers for later (stepping offline here shortly).

It felt like: Amazon - Shipping, quantity over quality. PMs wanted to just ship the new announcement at Reinvent. Microsoft - Revenue. They wanted to make money. Everyone does but Microsoft really highlighted it. Google - Technology. We wasted so much time circling about

My lab’s 5-year NIH R01 grant, awarded to study gene therapy for hearing loss, was abruptly terminated. I want to share how this action has been incredibly harmful and disruptive, not just to my lab, but to the scientific process itself. 1/15

8/ Red Flags I Missed: ❌ Publisher "contractshark" vs legitimate "juanblanco" ❌ No GitHub repository linked ❌ High downloads but no reviews ❌ Published recently (July 2025) ❌ Typosquatting common extensions Rush to ship = ignored instincts

PDFs have a font map that tells you what actual character is connected to each rendered character, so you can copy/paste. Unfortunately, these maps can lie, so the character you copy is not what you see. If you're unlucky, it's total gibberish.

latent space marine pyx isn't a PyPI competitor -- we’re not looking to serve public traffic or act as a source of truth for available Python packages. You can use it for private package hosting, or as a layer on top of PyPI and other public sources (like PyTorch).
