MITRA Search is among the very significant updates that the MITRA team is preparing for public release in the coming weeks. It will allow to do deep, semantic searches based on concepts and idears in a large corpus of Sanskrit, Pāli, TIbetan, and Chinese literature.

Dharmamitra will present a new set of tools and capabilities at the IABS conference in Leipzig this year! Please join our panel organized by Marcus Bingenheimer on August 12.

DharmaNexus is a powerful new database that allows to explore semantically related passages between Sanskrit, Tibetan, Pāli, and Chinese literature and will be available soon! Multilingual semantic matching has always been one of the top priorities of the MITRA project.

Being abe to seemlessly switch on sentence level between a Sūtra in Chinese and its Sanskrit or Tibetan version will become a reality with DharmaNexus. This is not just available for selected texts, but on corpus level, fully automatized, across all files and all languages!

🙏 14 months after launching dharmamitra, we're blown away: 350+ scholars use MITRA Translate daily, processing 2,500+ translation requests. OCR is taking off with 100-300 files/day. For Sanskrit, Tibetan, Pāli & Chinese translators, we've become essential. Thank you!

Dharmamitra will, thanks to Pentsok Rtsang, support a native Tibetan interface very soon! Also, we have integrated the capabilities of DharmaNexus to locate parallel passages into the MITRA Search system, so overviews with references to other texts and translation will come soon!
