I am delighted to announce the launch of the new DFN Project SEARCH HQ website. The new site will provide much improved communication about the work we are doing and also give better access to our programmes. Please take a look. dfnprojectsearch.org

We are proud to have worked closely with Lord Shinkwin and The Centre for Social Justice to develop the #DisabilityCommission's ground breaking āNow Is The Timeā report, which illustrates key ways to reduce the inequalities faced by disabled people. Delighted that the CSJ Disability Commission has been featured in @thesundaytimes. Boris Johnson must act and take up some of our policy recommendations within the report entitled "Now is the Time". shorturl.at/jqAB2

Only 5.6% of people with learning disabilities are in employment and we need to change that. DFN Project SEARCH HQ gets 60%+ into jobs after one year.

Please take a moment to read the CSJ Disability Commission's letter to Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The letter urges that the up and coming Disability Strategy take into account the Commission's proposals. Please share with your network. Now is the time for action

The letter to the PM is now signed by 50 senior business leaders to call on Boris Johnson to close the disability employment gap. Disabled people have waited long enough. Now is the time for action. This announcement appeared in yesterday's The Times and The Sunday Times.

It is fantastic to be able to document this milestone moment for my family, @DFNProjectSEARCH and DFN Foundation in this video series. I am so proud of Charlie and all that he has achieved so far, and this is just the beginning.

As Charlie's father and the founder of DFN Project SEARCH HQ, I couldnāt be more proud of Charlie as he progresses with his #SupportedInternship. He has already learned so many skills and developed so much confidence with the support of our brilliant mentors and job coaches.

Charlie joining DFN Project SEARCH HQ as an intern is a special moment for us as a family, and as a father it is amazing to see Charlie start his journey to employment. If you know a young adult wanting to enter the world of work, please reshare these videos and help to spread the word

It is no wonder that 60% of DFN Project SEARCH HQ interns go on to full-time paid work following their internships, the organisations donāt want to loose the interns who are incredible assets to their team. Likewise, our interns remain incredibly loyal and committed to their jobs!

I started DFN Project SEARCH HQ because there was a huge need to get more young adults with learning disabilities into full-time, paid jobs. When Charlie started his internship, it was wonderful for me to see firsthand the positive change that supported internships can bring to all involved
