PD Albert assisted at a domestic incident where the suspect had left over a garden fence. After Albert located the males slippers along the track, Albert tracked around a housing estate and back to the home address where the male was found by Albert hiding in a hedge Giant Schnauzer Albert

PD Nero assisted officers to locate a young male who had a knife and run from an address to end his life. Nero tracked from the address through streets, into a park and located the male, where his handler negotiated with him to drop the knife . A safe conclusion well done team 🐾

The Schnauzer gang. 10 dog handling teams from Plymouth, Torquay and Cornwall competed early today to select 4 dog teams to take part in the Force trials. PD Albert & John (R) were first, PD Bert (L) & Kevin came 3rd. Hopefully 8 month old TPD Clive will follow in their footsteps

🔥Report of a rape in South Devon where the offender had made off .… Saka got to work in tricky conditions, tirelessly searching the area before pulling his handler down a narrow footpath & over a footbridge where he found the male trying to hide out of sight in the shadows ! 🔥

PD Nero assisted officers in searching for a female who had left an address with the intention of harming herself. While on foot patrol in the area, PD Nero got the scent of someone, and took his handler to a dark area next to the sea, locating the female who was safe and well 🐾

Endless expanses of sand for running, needless to say we had some very tired and happy boys 🏝️🐶🐶

PD Nero called to crashed stolen vehicle,tracked from the vehicle through a busy area where an address was identified. 1 arrested while Nero continued tracking through woods and fields onto a main road.Evidence located on the track by Nero will help identify the other suspect🐶🐾

This week PD Phantom with Shane, top right PD Sid with Luke and PD Gwen with Lauren competed in the Force dog trials held over 2 days at HQ. They were part of 6 teams who had qualified in their local areas to compete in the trials. All performed well & were a credit to the force.

PD Nero called to a runner from a stolen bike. 1 arrested at scene, while Nero tracked through fields and woods locating clothing hidden in bushes containing tools and items used to steal bikes. Continued tracking to potential pick up point. Suspect identified and arrested 🐶🐾

High risk domestic violence suspect ran on seeing police. PD Albert was deployed making light work of the foot chase. The suspect realised he wasn’t going to win and gave up. Albert recognised this and stood off, detaining the male until he was arrested. 1 in custody Giant Schnauzer Albert

PD Nero called to a report of a male breaking into vehicles during the night. On arrival, Neros handler spots the male jump out of a bush where he had been hiding and run off. PD Nero deployed and after a short chase down the road the male thought better of it! 1 in custody 🐶🐾

PD Nero called to runners from a stolen motorbike. Neros handler spotted one of the males and Nero was deployed and gave chase. The male immediately gave up and was contained until units arrived to handcuff him. He was also found in possession of controlled drugs. 1 in custody 🐾

PD Albert was deployed to a report of a despondent young person. Working closely with patrol colleagues who contained the area; PD Albert located the male, preventing him from running off and he was taken to a place of safety Giant Schnauzer Albert

Last night there was no stopping PD Merlin determined to catch a male who had 🏃‍♂️ from 👮‍♂️. Stolen motorbike found abandoned shortly after. Finni got to work tracking & finding evidence on the way before finding the offender hiding. But whilst tracking to him, she also found a male committing a lewd act in the bushes within a cemetery of all places! Two in custody! 🐾
