No, Donald Trump, there are no votes for you to find. The American people have spoken and at 12:01 pm on January 20, you will no longer be president.

He has betrayed our national security, and he will do so again. He has compromised our elections, and he will do so again. You will not change him. You cannot constrain him. Truth matters little to him. What's right matters even less. And decency not at all. Enough.

Georgia, this is it. Today is Election Day and your vote can help elect Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon @Ossoff to the U.S. Senate. Make your voice heard today and vote—either in person or by dropping off your mail-in ballot at a ballot drop box.

Donald Trump lit the fuse which exploded at the Capitol.

Every day that he remains in office, he is a danger to the Republic.

He should leave office immediately, through resignation, the 25th Amendment or impeachment.

My reflections from Wednesday:

The American people can expect the House will do its duty. And we will move swiftly. But the Senate must undertake its Constitutional obligation, as well. If McConnell stonewalls, he will bear responsibility for whatever dangerous acts this president commits in the days ahead.

We can fortify the defenses of the Capitol.  We can reinforce doors and put up fences. But we cannot guard our democracy against those who walk the halls of the Capitol, have taken an oath to uphold our Constitution, but refuse to do so.

Adam Schiff (@senadamschiff) 's Twitter Profile Photo

The 25th Amendment should be invoked, but if the Vice President refuses to do his duty, Congress will move with urgency to do ours. Trump incited a violent insurrection, and for that he must be impeached. Every day this man is in office, he is a grave danger to the nation.

Trump whipped up a mob into a frenzy. He told them to go to the Capitol and “fight like hell.” And they did. With tragic results. And it could have been much, much worse. Upholding our oath means recognizing that every second Trump is president, the nation is at risk. Impeach.

For the fourth time in American history, and the second time in Donald Trump’s dangerous and destructive tenure, a president has been impeached.   We will defend our democracy against all threats, foreign and domestic.
Donald Trump must be removed, never to hold office again.

Steve Bannon is getting a pardon from Trump after defrauding Trump’s own supporters into paying for a wall that Trump promised Mexico would pay for. And if that all sounds crazy, that’s because it is. Thank God we have only 12 more hours of this den of thieves.

This is a time for boldness and President Biden is already delivering. By rejoining the Paris climate accords on day one, he declared loudly and clearly that the U.S. will once again lead the fight against climate change. And this is only the beginning. barackobama.medium.com/a-new-day-for-…

Patriotism knows no gender nor orientation.   Ending the transgender military ban is another vital step in restoring America’s promise of equality.   Anyone with the courage and sense of duty to serve this country should be allowed to do so — with our thanks and gratitude.

@RepAdamSchiff This great. Now when are you going to expel the Senators and Representatives that violated their oaths of office? Stop going silent about it.

Here’s an example of the incredible risks and burdens that our essential workers have been facing. And even as we move toward vaccinating our population, we all need to remain vigilant until we’ve beaten this pandemic. curbed.com/2021/01/mta-ny…

Telling a worker making $52,000 a year that they're "too rich" to get the full $2,000 in direct relief is totally absurd. We made promises to the American people that we would help our working families—and those promises have got to be kept.

Trump’s lawyers can’t contest the facts, so they’re making a false claim about the First Amendment. Let's be clear: Trump has no First Amendment right to violate his oath of office. No more than a fire chief has the right to tell arsonists to burn down the station.

BREAKING: FBI drops bombshell on Jim Jordan, reveals that the two ex-FBI agents who became House Republicans’ “whistleblowers” are actually now being paid by Trump’s close associates and are Trumpers who think that the January 6 insurrectionists are “innocent.” But it gets worse.
