Putting aside that I’m Jewish & raising a Jewish child. In the USA 3 young people were shot, leaving one paralysed, for wearing keffiyehs. A white woman tried to drown & kill 2 little Palestinian kids. A young Palestinian boy was shot & killed in his home.

All of these examples listed by naama are from submissions taken seriously for some reason by the Commission of Inquiry into Antisemitism at Australian Universities Some were even reported by our Special Envoy Jillian Segal herself This is weaponized antisemitism

Muhammed Saeed Al-Ustaz was 7 years old. He had gone to the bakery to buy bread. While returning with the bread in his arms, he lost his life in an Israeli airstrike targeting the bakery. He was brought to Nasser Medical Hospital without his head.

Pagers are also used by doctors, paramedics, nurses and other professions. Amongst the injured are hundreds of civilians. But news agencies baselessly claim that 1000 injured are all "Hezbollah fighters". Did you interview the injured and they told you "we're from Hezbollah"?

My family and friends in Sur describe surreal and shocking scenes. People running through the streets, women hitting their faces, mass confusion and hysteria, ambulances racing by, rescue workers crying. #Lebanon

How would the world react if hundreds of explosions went off in unison in New York City, Washington, Paris, or London? Eternal shame upon the news outlets framing this as an attack against combatants. These blasts all occurred in civilian areas. This is terrorism.

Israel just killed a ten-year-old girl in Lebanon with a random, scattered, uncontrolled bombing campaign against civilians. There is no other word for this but terrorism.

Um. Can someone explain to me how causing hundreds of pagers to explode, regardless of where the people were at the time, and thus endangering the lives of thousands of civilians, is not a terrorist attack?

If it were iPhones that were leaving the factory with explosives inside, the media would be a hell of a lot faster to cotton on to what a horrific precedent has been set today. Nothing can justify this. It's a crime. A crime. And everyone in the world is less safe for it.

Isn't this enough to make the hearts of the world tremble and stop the war?Isn't it enough that we pull a nursing infant from the arms of its mother, from beneath the rubble of a home destroyed by the Zionist machine of hatred, to ignite our emotions for that? Enough oppression

Israel blowing up Lebanese civilians in a marketplace is being heralded as one of the greatest operations in Israeli history. It says a lot.

Shameful dehumanisation from “our” ABC News. The othering and dehumanisation of the “Arab” by mainstream media is complicity 101!

Yes of course antisemitism exists. For example, I spoke at a Palestine solidarity rally on campus & Zionist students & non-students wrapped in israeli flags heckled & did the sig heil gesture. Being Jewish, & being a speaker, I felt directly targeted by this vile antisemitism

Detonating bombs via pagers in supermarkets, offices and homes is “humbling” and not terrorism according to this ABC headline. An 8yo girl was one of several killed. Thousands injured. I am sure lots of people in Lebanon are feeling humble at the moment.

Lebanese friend of mine is trying to get information about his family & said something I didn’t even stop to consider today. He said ‘a lot of people are hesitant to answer texts right now’. What Israel did today really does change the course of how “wars” are conducted.
