Good to visit the new #PharmaceuticalTechnicalUniversity today in #Tashkent for the first time, a 🇺🇿🇬🇧 TNE partnership with dmuleicester and University of Sunderland at the Pharma Park. This will be a fantastic research-based university for the life sciences once it’s fully operational.

Absolutely delighted to be launching Phase 3 of our British Council Continuing Professional Development programme with the 🇺🇿Ministry of Pre-School and School Education this morning, with 61 schools from all across #Uzbekistan joining thanks to support from Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.

On my first visit to Ashgabat, Turkmenistan and delighted to start the visit with a meeting with the Vice-Minister of Education at their wonderful building and a visit to the very important National Institute of Education to talk about teachers’ professional development. 🇹🇲🇬🇧
