Starting the day off at the Hampton Roads Dem Biz Alliance meeting “Living in a post-Roe world in Virginia and beyond.” with a great panel including Jennifer McClellan and Dr. Holly S. Puritz, MD, an OB GYN at the Group for Women.
Got an early start today to attend a skillfully moderated conversation by Cathy Lewis and inspired remarks from Jennifer McClellan about protecting the freedom to access reproductive healthcare in VA. Always good to see fellow candidate Delegate Michael Feggans, too!
This morning’s DemBizAlliance meeting was 🔥! 👏🏻👏🏽👏🏿 to the new leadership taking the reins on City Councils throughout the 757. I am so excited for the future of our region after listening to the vision of these young (and young-at-heart!) leaders.
Thank you Sam Shirazi for joining DemBiz's post-election analysis this morning! We had almost 50 members join today for this great discussion about this week's elections, as well as looking ahead to 2024 & 2025.
Kicked off the morning with my colleagues speaking to the DemBizAlliance about this year’s legislative session, the ongoing budget negotiation process, and what our priorities must be next session. Always a great time at the DemBiz breakfast! 🥞🥓
It was a great start to a busy day. I met my colleagues at the Democratic Business Alliance of South Hampton Roads DemBizAlliance this morning for an excellent discussion on our recent legislative victories and what to expect with the upcoming special session.
It’s a good day anytime I get the chance to spend time with this group in the 757 — thanks to the DemBizAlliance for inviting us to share updates about the 2024 General Assembly session.
Started the day with a few of my House and Senate colleagues at the DemBizAlliance breakfast discussing our legislative victories and the work we still have left to do. Thank you for hosting a wonderful forum.
